How we handle your data.
Short version: as little as possible, and never sold.
1. Overview
DNLD.APP is the home of a small ecosystem of download tools: InstaDL, TikDown, and YTDown. This policy explains what information we process when you visit dnld.app and use our forms. We keep data collection to a minimum and never sell your information.
2. Information you submit
We only collect personal data when you choose to send it to us through a form:
- Contact form: your name, email address, and message. This same form handles downloader requests.
This information is used only to respond to your message or review your request. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
3. Information we process automatically
Like most websites, we process standard technical data such as your IP address and browser user agent. This helps us keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and understand general usage. We do not use it to identify you personally.
4. Cookies and local storage
We store a small preference in your browser so the site remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. It is kept on your device and is not used to track you across other websites.
5. Third-party services
We rely on a few trusted providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam and abuse.
- Google Tag Manager for anonymous, aggregated usage analytics.
- Vercel to host the site.
- An email provider to deliver the messages you send us.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
6. Links to our download tools
This site links to InstaDL, TikDown, and YTDown, which are separate services with their own privacy policies. When you use one of those tools, that tool’s policy applies.
7. Data retention
Form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, and are stored in our email inbox. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.
8. Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data you submitted, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, visit our contact page.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
